Fresh fruits also provide easily available carbohydrates, which are good for individuals suffering from flu.

The main point regarding diet during flu is to eat well. If you can eat protein rich diet along with vitamin and mineral rich diet, it is added advantage for faster recovery. Another important point is to eat whatever you feel like eating, because it is better to eat something than avoid food during flu.
