Most of us don’t carry a toothbrush and toothpaste let alone mouthwash around with us wherever we go, so an easy solution to this is to rinse out your mouth with plain water. This can be found practically anywhere and it does a good job loosening all those food particles that will soon be wedged in and between your teeth after you have eaten a midday meal.

Chewing Gum Reduces Damaging Acid

Chewing gum that’s sugar free and contains xylitol will kill the bacteria that cause cavities. It might surprise you that gum typically encourages the production of saliva in your mouth which helps to lower acid levels. It’s a good idea to chew gum for around twenty minutes once you have finished eating.
