Healthy Ways to Get Rid Of Face Fat

There is no standard model for what a body should look like. The come in different shapes and sizes. This also applies to faces. Faces come in different shapes and each is beautiful in its own right. This does not mean you can’t work on your face to make it look a different way.

It simply means you should undertake such task from a position of confidence and strength, not because you are ashamed of your face. Fortunately, there are many things you can do to say bye to that fat in your face. Read on to find out.

Your Body Weight

Your total body weight will tell on your face. So, if you are overweight, expect your face to be fat! But I am not overweight and my face is fat you say, it happens. Take heart, there is nothing an intentionally healthy diet and relevant exercises cannot achieve. However, some people need to be ready to shed those extra pounds before they can get the kind of face they desire.

Eat for Your Face

Some foods promote even skin tone, weight loss and healthy complexion. You should eat more of such foods if you want to get a slim face. Eat vegetables and fruits. Eat whole grains and lean protein. Eat low-fat dairy and your face will thank you for it. Examples of such foods include broccoli, spinach, green beans, kale, lettuce, brown rice, eggs, lean steak, barley, fish etc. However, beyond what you eat, you should know that portioning and rationing is important.

Schedule your meals and the portion you will eat to avoid overeating or under eating. You should also cut back on the rate at which you eat out, especially at restaurants where their food is processed with high sodium intake. Sodium causes your face to balloon through water retention. Reduce the sodium intake in all your meals.

Exercising

As with diet, you have to perform exercises that will educe total body fat if you have any. If you have none, target exercises like facial exercises will work well on your face. Cardiovascular exercises like walking, jogging and running about 20 minutes three times a week will suffice when combines with the right diet to give you a slim face.

You can include exercises such as pursing your lips, puffing your cheeks and toning your facial muscles to tone your face and make it look young and healthy. If you exercise outside especially in the summer, wear sunscreen. Sun damage can cause your skin to age prematurely which makes it difficult to lose fat in your face.

Rest

Anxiety is real and it can rob you of your sleep. If it does, and it happens frequently, you will have a face the size of a balloon! This is particularly true if you are above the age of 30. I know you don’t like to hear it but you are already ageing and every deprivation to your health shows on your skin and your face. Sleep is not just for yourself, it is also for your body to recuperate from all the stress of the day. Get enough sleep and you will have healthy looks to show for it.

Medicine and Genetics

If your face is naturally round, don’t mistake it for fat or you will spend a lot of time being unnecessarily miserable. Your bone structure may be engineered to make your face look fat. Sometimes, as you age, it starts to look perky. If genetics is the reason your face appears fat or aging, you can’t avert it. You can only manage it.

However, there are some people that have face fat as a side effect of some medication they’re on. You should rule out these factors before you embark on a mission to save your face.
