I was searching some blogs on health and nutrition and I came across a nice blog healthy fellow. The blog is a good to read and gain useful knowledge about healthy food and healthy nutrition. The author has done a commendable job in writing the articles of the blog.

Healthy fellow is very good health and nutrition blog. I particularly like the meshed cauliflower recipe. This meshed cauliflower recipe is the alternative to high calorie, tasty and creamy meshed potato. Potato is ubiquitous vegetable found from coolest to hottest areas in the world, but very few people realized that behind the tasty potato there lies the high calorie of energy. Potato is also a type of food with high glycemic index (glycemic index of a food stuff indicate how fast the particular food can convert to glucose) and not good for diabetics and for people on diet. Diabetic people should avoid foods with high glycemic index. And for diabetes patient the meshed cauliflower is an ideal alternative to meshed potato.

Another interesting topic I have to mention is about the amla or Indian gooseberry. Thanks to the author for his enlightening article about amla. I knew about amla that it is the richest source of vitamin C. but I did not know that this amla is equipped to fight one of humans biggest enemy known a cholesterol. This cholesterol is responsible for the death of millions of people worldwide every year from heart problems. Amla has been used by Indians for thousands of years as a medicinal preparations and in the previous century only it has come to lime light for its uncountable properties.
